Revelstoke Snowmobile Guides

Qualified snowmobile mountain guides make for a perfect sledding day. Great Canadian guide qualifications include CAA avalanche level 1 or 2 licenses, wilderness first aid and vast terrain knowledge and experience. They further carry radios for your safety, are equipped with proper avalanche rescur gear and are extremely competant guides. Most importantly they guide within their legal tenures, offering you added safety. These are good reasons to ride with a legitimate Great Canadian guide and not 'a friend of a friend, who claims to know the mountains'. Next thing you know you spend the better part of your day digging yourself out of some hole.

Our multi day clinics always include guides, but for those staying at Glacier House Resort and bringing their own machines or renting our machines, qualified mountain guides are available for the day. Reservations are required and can be made at 1250 837 5030.

Guides are great if you are new to the area, if you want to stregthen you skills and recieve one on one detailed instruction and breakdown of technique or if you just want to maximize your snowmobile holiday. Especially when weather conditions are bad a guide will assist you greatly in finding rideable and safe terrain. Our guides are fun and will assess and challenge your abilities continuously. All riders will have to sign a waiver and must comply with our guides’ instructions during the day.

Cost - A guide for the day is $380 plus $20 per rider (rates subject to 12% HST).

This includes our government land levy. Reservations are required. Riders need to purchase their own trail pass at the trail heads.
